The Simba cricket Academy provides various high class coaching programme concentrating on mastering the basics and fine tuning of skills. This will allow players to fulfil their potential and perform at the highest level. The goal of the Simba Cricket Academy is to take a limited and select squad of talented, aspiring cricketers who have a desire to become a professional cricketer and shape them into quality county level players.

We intend to achieve this by providing a specific and proven intensive cricket coaching programme delivered throughout the year by Simba Donald Mlambo, together with his dedicated coaching team. This consists of experience cricketers many of which have played cricket at high level.

The Academy consists of professional, country, club and recreational players tailor-made programmes. We run weekly master-class session and individuals programmes each having a 12-session programme of coaching throughout the school’s term. We also offer special exclusive preparations for county trials and host of tournaments especially the Indoor cricket in winter.

Donald Mlambo’s broad knowledge and enthusiasm is infectious. His ideas are innovative. Donald has coached in Zimbabwe, in the grass roots programmes such as struggler’s cricket. In England he has coached the Ovals for Surrey, coaching aspiring county cricketers and holiday courses. In 2005 and 2006 he coached the England Women Indoor cricket team that won the Test series. From 2003 to present date Donald runs master-class weekly courses that has produced some of the great names in the youth county set-up. Donald has coached the Shotley Peninsula ladies and men in 2018/ 21. The Ipswich Tigers 2017 to 2021, Ipswich and East Suffolk Cricket Club. In 2005 founder of the Copdock Junior Cricket section. Apart from just cricket Donald is a sports-master, some of his products include community multi-sports programmes which embarks on talent identification, development and fostering, giving first class sports coaching and experience to a wide range of sporting abilities.
